Dawn Lemle

Dawn is highly engaged and motivated to improve our WV Communities, and beyond. She works diligently to find new projects, expand current work and brings partners together wherever she is. She is consistently working to improve our processes, partnerships, and community impact, not only locally but statewide. She believes wholeheartedly in people and our ability to serve one another. Her work helps us focus on community engagement, community outreach, natural resource education, school gardens, community gardens, soil health, and water conservation. Focused on community improvements, education to youth and development of our natural resource career path, people find her engaging and creative.
Dawn currently serves as treasurer of our council, secretary of the WV State Association of RC&D Councils and is an alternate for the NE Association to the National Board. She has been working with the NE Association and the National Association for the last several years, keeping those relationships intact and moving projects forward. It is our pleasure to nominate Dawn for her hard work and dedication to the National Board as an At-Large Member. She is a visionary and knows how to accomplish goals with ease. Her collaborative mindset always allows for engagement and supports innovative ideas. We know she will be a great asset to the National Board with her kindness, integrity, work ethic, strategic insight, knowledge, leadership, and humbleness.
